There is nothing more exciting than building a new home for your growing family and eventually welcoming a newborn into the world. Well, this family did those two things within a few days of each other. Phew! It exhausts me just thinking about it! Luckily this beautiful momma and I are good friends, so I was able to be flexible and get pictures done for them once they felt settled. This family is so genuine and are the kind of people that you feel you've known forever after a few moments together. Oh, and ummm, they make BEAUTIFUL babies, can't you tell? 

Lastly, big brother is just purely sweet.  He is the kind of toddler who will walk up to you, give you a hug, and say "I love you" without you saying anything at all. **heart melt**. Once you see the pictures below, you'll see just how sweet he is. He couldn't keep his eyes off of his brother and kissed him repeatedly without any prompting. A photographer's dream!

Bookouts, you've done it again. I am so excited to watch your family grow, change, and evolve. You four are so special to me and I appreciate your friendship! 

I always get excited when families call me to take pictures of their children! Because I was a teacher for two and three year olds, I miss seeing kids everyday and celebrating their new milestones. This photoshoot was a BIG milestone...Colton turned 1! This sweet boy has the nicest parents who love him so very much that they got him balloons and a cake for his session with me! It was so fun to document Colton exploring the cake and getting messy. The life, I tell ya! Happy birthday, Colton! (And happy anniversary to mom and dad!)

As a photographer, there's nothing better than having clients that are just naturals in front of the camera. As a sister, there's nothing better than seeing your sister and brother-in-law in one of the happiest seasons of their life. And, as an aunt, there's nothing better than spending time with your precious niece and celebrating new milestones she's made. Put these all together and it's MAGIC! 

I had so much fun last weekend shooting pictures of my sister, brother-in-law, and niece at Bull Creek Park. I know that I'm biased, but you guys....they are gorgeous! This little family all started with my sister and brother-in-law meeting in kindergarten. Yes, kindergarten. I think you can tell from these pictures that their love story continues to grow each and everyday!
